This contest was begun as a win-win-win. It was a creative way for the "little guy" to survive the real estate crash. Based on his research, the developer hoped that the contest would make enough money to pay all money owed related to the property (much better for everyone than going bankrupt), give away the house to a happy contest winner, and give money philanthropically to the homeless. Perhaps this was too good an idea. At any rate, there were those who would not let it be. Due to unwarranted and unauthorized actions taken by government, and some private individuals and companies, a situation was created that made it impossible for this contest to go forward. This was not the wish of those who originally set out on this venture, and but for these uncontrollable events, this contest would have gone forward.

Your money will be refunded, for most of you, in the manner in which you paid. If you do not receive a refund by November 9th please send an email through this website, so that we can ensure your refund is processed.
